Most of my friends had a nice night out and got presents...I know it sounds silly/immature but we don't go out often and he's not romantic! So I think it's an ok excuse to go out. We generally just DO something nice for each other. I don't like being counted on by Hallmark executives to increase their profits. I'll get a girl flowers, but not around this time. It's not worth the hoopla just to make ourselves feel "special" (although, since everyone is obsessing over it, is it really that special?) If anything, it saves time and headaches trying to go out to eat that evening. Stay in, cook for yourselves and go to the nice restaurant in 2 weeks when they aren't price gouging desperate males seeking attention from over-materialistic women.<br><b>References : </b><br> Heck yes.
