How Do You Choose Your Valentine Flowers?
Flowers come in a number of varieties and each one of them means something for someone. Just like people, they come in different shape and sizes. Valentine’s Day is almost here, have you visited a Philippine flower shop already?
Choosing the kind of flowers to give your loved ones is important as the end result is a thoughtful, loving message. Most people would avail of Philippine flower delivery so that they no longer have to buy gifts for Valentine, but have you thought about customizing? Some people would add a customized message, instead of the plain “I love you”. Others would hand pick the kinds of flowers they will send for delivery. When you personalize, you can make gifts that your loved one can treasure.
For most men, making personalized messages is so easy, but hand picking flowers can be a chore. So here are a few tips to help you choose for flower delivery to the Philippines.
1. What are your sweetheart’s preferences? What color does she like? Most women like pastel tones such as peach and lavender. What are her favorite kinds of flowers? What are her hobbies? You can perhaps ask a Philippine flower shop to create bouquets which revolves around her interests. If you don’t know, don’t fret, you can always ask her. Of course if you want to send flowers to the Philippines by surprise, you can still ask her friends and family. Or you can ask her yourself but be nonchalant about it, make it seem as if it’s not a biggie. This way, she won’t have any idea that you’re planning to send flowers Philippines.
On the other hand, if you are a woman and you want to send flowers to your man, then you ought to know that most men respond to flowers with different vivid colors such as red, orange, purple and blue.
2. Ask yourself what message you want to convey and consult a florist for help. Some of you might have trouble putting your feelings into words, and a florist can help you with personalized messages. You can even purchase creative enclosure cards from them to make your task easier.
3. Of course, you also need to consider your budget. Most online florist are pretty cheap, so you should have no trouble looking for one that offers Philippine flower delivery at a low cost.
To find the best online florist which offers flower delivery to the Philippines, check for reviews and determine the promptness of their delivery. Call your favorite florist a week in advance, especially when you are planning to send flowers to the Philippines on Valentine’s Day since there will surely be a lot of orders during this time. Keep the necessary information in hand: recipient’s name and address, telephone number, what you want to send and how you want to be billed.
If don’t know any Philippine flower shop which operates online, that’s not a problem. A quick search on the internet will reveal numerous online florists, but then again, make sure you choose properly.

Do you and your significant other choose to not celebrate Valentine's Day?
My husband and I don’t celebrate it, it’s just become so commercial, they started to put out Valentine displays in December!!!
I’m not unlike most women who appreciate flowers or a "token" of his love, but I just think it’s means more if it’s not on the same day that everyone else in the world is doing the same thing.
What do you think?

Heck yes. I don’t like being counted on by Hallmark executives to increase their profits.
I’ll get a girl flowers, but not around this time. It’s not worth the hoopla just to make ourselves feel "special" (although, since everyone is obsessing over it, is it really that special?)
If anything, it saves time and headaches trying to go out to eat that evening. Stay in, cook for yourselves and go to the nice restaurant in 2 weeks when they aren’t price gouging desperate males seeking attention from over-materialistic women.

My wife and I feel that we should do nice things for each other whenever we want… so generally, when Valentine’s Day comes around… there’s really no burning desire to buy something. We generally just DO something nice for each other. Like, I will cook whatever she likes, and she will jump on me when I get home!
Other than that… it is very commerical and has lost it’s meaning entirely.

We decided not to celebrate it last year… and truthfully I felt a little left out! Most of my friends had a nice night out and got presents…I know it sounds silly/immature but we don’t go out often and he’s not romantic! So I think it’s an ok excuse to go out.
I do believe that it’s overrated and hyped up..but it can be fun, too.
