that is a retarded …
that is a retarded statement. Radiohead has been KILLING it since the late 80′s early 90′s. I don’t think Rolling Stone would call an average band the “Pink Floyd of our times” Get some taste in music my friend!!!

This song is …
This song is great. Definetly one of the best ever. It’s about a girls love for a guy who has fake plastic emotions for her, and her love to him is fake and plastic for the guy, because his love for her is real. That’s what the lyrics portray to me but I can’t write a lot because of the comment-limiting box.

I always thought it …
I always thought it was ‘Girls in their Eighties, but gravity always wins’. Then it’s comic, which is important in songs about the futility of modern existence.

Yeah I know… but …
Yeah I know… but that’s what I thought when I first heard it. And while Thom’s lyrics are perfect “girls in their early teens” would be fitting.
Either way, thanks for the feedback… very cool

It’s “…for girls …
It’s “…for girls in the 80s,” but I agree with what you’re saying.
