    This was my lunch today. I was skeptical of raw leeks, but wow, they were good! I used cauliflower, grape tomatoes, leeks and broccoli. I didn’t have a zucchini on hand, but I look forward to making it with them :)

    Ive been trying raw …
    Ive been trying raw smoothies in the morning. I just made a green smoothie this morning and it made me feel sick. I put in kale, water, strawberry’s, frozen bananas, goji berries, maca powder, and kiwi. I think it is the maca that makes me feel nauseous. I really cant stand the taste. Is there any way to mask it? I really like how energized i feel from it. I only put in about a teaspoon total, to split between my boyfriend and myself.

    I’ve never tried to become raw because raw food has always made me feel cold (don’t even know why). But I need a change in the way I eat, and you just made this look so yummy that I’m definitely trying this recipe (and probably some other ones too). Thank you, Karen.

    GaryNull I’m …
    GaryNull I’m familiar with problems

    burping was convincing enough for me, then goitrogen concerns which can be deactivated by the steam sample but also mild fermentation. I clicked thinking this would be closest to what I do, opening ingredients enough to tenderize each other under some immersion (i.e. Perrier or coconut water from husk) if not enough moisture between meal items. there’s change for digestion frequently within day, max two. {air drying florets on slats optional too for me!}

    They are great eaten raw! Our teeth are what should be liberating the nutrients : ) Sure, they are good steamed too, but I am not sure where the “should not” comes from; only if people have weak digestion.

    Should steam, to liberate the nutrients, . .
